Cosmetology Program
International Academy’s Cosmetology Program encompasses a powerful, all-inclusive cosmetology curriculum, delivered through a scientific, step-by-step, hands-on learning experience.
The Cosmetology Program consists of practical demonstrations, lectures and examinations. The beginning Cosmetology student curriculum is primarily classroom work in styling, cutting, chemical and color work on manikins. The latter portion of the program is designed to allow students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills by working on clients in our student salon under the constant supervision of our professional instructors. These services are: hair cutting, shampooing, rinses, hair arranging (styling), hair coloring, highlighting, chemical waving, relaxing, hair removal, manicuring, pedicuring, facials, make-up, scalp or hair treatments and hair pieces. As the student concludes the program, an intense focus is placed on State Board examination preparation and upon graduation the student is ready to take his/her examination to become a Licensed Cosmetologist in the State of Florida.

Our Academy offers not only the cutting edge equipment and high energy hands on classroom experience, but we also issued a CD-Rom of their program, allowing students to review lessons and self test at anytime to help evaluate their beauty skills. Plan for your success as a cosmetologist,
