Financial Aid for Students

International Academy participates in Financial Aid Programs to assist students who need funds to attend school. The eligibility of the student is determined by the need of the particular student. Each case is different. The Federal Financial Aid Programs, which the school makes available are the Pell Grant, Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG). Our admissions office will assist every student that needs help and process their applications.

Financial Need

Federal Student Aid is awarded on the basis of financial need. Need is the difference between your cost of education and an amount you and your family are expected to contribute towards your education. A standard formula used for all applicants determines this amount, which is called the Expected Family Contribution. The information you report on your aid application is used in calculating your contribution. The amount left over after subtracting the expected contribution from your cost of education is considered your financial need.

Sallie Mae / Key Bank Educational Loans - Career Training Loans

SLM Financial Corporation, or Key Bank, makes career training affordable for a variety of students attending full or half time. With flexible Low-interest financing to accommodate a wide range of programs, the SLM Financial Career Training Loan and the Key Career Loan can make paying for your education easier. Inquire with the Financial Aid Department for more details.

Scholarships

The International Academy participates in the ACE GRANTS program sponsored by AACS, BBSI and CAF. This program is only available to "newly" graduating high school seniors. Inquire with the Financial Aid office if interested.

International Academy In-House Payment Programs

International Academy offers it's students zero interest in-house payment programs in addition to the above illustrated funding services. Affordable contracted payment schedules are available for persons wishing to pay their tuition on their own or to supplement their payment schedule along with other payment options offered. Inquire with the Admissions Department for more details.
