What is a Manicurist?

An manicurist, is someone who takes care and provides cosmetic treatment through the use of tools, creams, oils, waxes and massage techniques to help shape and clean the fingernails and cuticles.

International Academy’s Esthetician Training Program encompasses a powerful, all-inclusive curriculum including the fundamentals needed to become a professional manicurist. Students will learn all about becoming a manicurist and all it's elements of skin care including, but not limited to, structure, functions, as well as the proper procedures behind the use of certain skin care treatments.

Full-time Days: 30 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.

Part-time Days: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.

Part-time Nights: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Tuesday through Thursday; plus 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday.
