Our Mission

It is International Academy's mission to provide an opportunity to achieve a quality education for a group of learners who have the ability to benefit from the programs in the field of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, the field of Massage Therapy, and/or related or unrelated fields. The primary objective of International Academy is to provide clear-minded students the education and practical experience necessary to become either a Licensed Professional Cosmetologist, Nail Technician, Skin Care, Hair Removal Specialist, Spa Specialist and Massage Therapists. Training at the academy meets or exceeds the standards established by the U.S. Department of Education, Florida Board of Cosmetology, Commission For Independent Education, Board of Massage Therapy and NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences).

International Academy Profile

Since 1981 the International Academy has served the cosmetology industry in producing quality professionals. Our graduates are known to represent a standard that is exceptional. Many of them move on to lucrative careers in professional salons, own their own salons, or become platform artists. The International Academy is well respected in the industry. The instructors at the academy are carefully screened to insure a staff of fully licensed and experienced professionals. They are constantly evaluated in an ongoing effort to maintain high levels of teaching effectiveness, with proper attention to the student's individual learning and motivational needs. Our instructors are qualified to give both academic and practical instruction.
