Student Housing

 

With our central location, there are many different housing opportunities available for our students.  Although many of our students reside in the immediate area, students moving to the area to attend International Academy can rest assured that housing is available and there are many options to choose from. 

This will be a great opportunity for the dedicated student relocating to attend International Academy.  Located within walking distance to campus, students can live in a "dorm-like" setting with other Internaitonal Academy students and experience housing with minimal expenses.  Please contact the admissions department directly for more information and get your name on the waiting list now!

 

Some students are more comfortable living by themselves or relocating and settling into an apartment.  We estimate a $1000-$1200 per month budget for this option. This estimated budget includes: rent, electricity, phone, and food for the month. Information on various apartment complexes in the area is available.

 

 

 

In addition, we offer a great network of local host families who are willing to welcome students into their homes. The following is usually included in the monthly room and board: breakfast, evening meal, electricity, basic local phone service, and use of the laundry facilities. Some families will even provide transportation to and from school for their student.  This housing opportuntiy is great for our International Students and allows for a great submerssion into the American culture. The average cost is about $350-$400 per month and depends on the services being supplied.
